Recently, the Center for Rural Agricultural Information and Sub-Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) introduced a system for tracing agricultural resources. This effort will help Vinh Long’s key agricultural products conquer the fastidious export market.
Vina T&T Group signed a memorandum to remember the association of consumption of rambutan and longan in 4 communes in Long Ho district.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Muoi – Deputy General Director of Vina T&T Group – said: As one of the fruit exporters to the US, our business is interested in rambutan, longan and promoting project to build this material area in Vinh Long. As an exporter, if the famer produces good products, there is no residue of pesticide, the product will be exported.
Recently, Vietnamese mangoes have been rated as 40- 60% damaged by the US market. According to Mr. Dinh Muoi, this is an unrealistic number because for Vina T&T Group, until now, all mango products exported to the US market have not complained about product quality.
Thus, if a business is not reputable, it will affect the brand of Vietnamese agricultural products in the international market.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Muoi hoped that farmers must really ensure the production process, not for immediate profit but lose the long term.
When cooperating, it is necessary to comply with the general regulations so that goods can be exported quickly and enterprises will support cooperatives and gardeners to produce the best products. Vina T&T Group plans to invest in a preliminary processing factory to contribute in the material area, and create good conditions for export and create jobs for local workers.
