In addition, in April, Vina T&T group also successfully purchased and exported 9.5 tons of sweet mangoes in Dong Thap province.
Mr. Nguyen Van Liem – Deputy Director of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development said: Mango is the sixth fresh fruit of Vietnam licensed to export to the US market. The export of mangoes to this market proves that Vietnam’s fruits are increasingly asserting their position in the world market thanks to high quality, competitive prices and the participation of businesses in global supply chains.
This is good news for gardeners and mango growers. In the coming time, farmers need to raise awareness, responsibility, better implement the quality assurance of mangoes as well as other agricultural products to meet the requirements of importing countries.
