HONORED TO WELCOME COMRADE VO VAN HUNG – DEPUTY MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE & ENVIRONMENT TO VINA T&T GROUP’S KIM THANH FACTORY

Today (May 6, 2026), Comrade Võ Văn Hưng visited and held a working session at Kim Thanh Factory of Vina T&T Group – marking a proud milestone in the company’s journey to strengthen its position in Vietnam’s agricultural export landscape.

As part of the program, the Deputy Minister, together with the Ministry delegation, representatives of Vinh Long Province including Mr. Lam Van Tan – Director of the Department of Agriculture & Environment of Vinh Long Province, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh – Head of the Cultivation & Plant Protection Sub-Department, representatives of Giao Long Commune, and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh – Chairman of the Vietnam Fruit & Vegetable Association (VINAFRUIT), toured Kim Thanh Factory 1 & 2 to gain first-hand insights into the production and packaging processes of key export products such as coconut, pomelo, and durian, all meeting international standards.

During the working session, Vina T&T Group proactively shared key industry priorities while bringing forward practical insights from farming areas and growers, contributing to policy development:

  • Farming area standards and capability to meet international market requirements
  • Transparency in product traceability
  • Expansion into high-standard, demanding markets
  • Investment in deep processing to enhance product value
  • Operational realities in farming areas and production systems
  • Development of internationally certified farming areas such as GlobalG.A.P. and Organic standards

In addition, a representative of the Vietnam Fruit & Vegetable Association (VINAFRUIT), Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, also shared practical industry perspectives, highlighting challenges such as competitive pressure, stringent quality control requirements, difficulties in traceability implementation, and the need to improve inspection systems, manage growing area codes, and invest in processing and infrastructure.

Representing the company, Nguyễn Đình Tùng – Chairman & CEO of Vina T&T Group – emphasized the company’s efforts to maintain positive growth amid market fluctuations, while consistently building an international-standard agricultural value chain closely linked with farmers and oriented toward sustainable development.

Comrade Vo Van Hung highly appreciated Vina T&T Group’s organizational model and operational capabilities, while reaffirming the Government’s continued support – creating a strong foundation for the company to expand partnerships, enhance value, and contribute to the sustainable growth of Vietnam’s fruit industry.
