Recently, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Muoi – Deputy General Director, together with the technical team of Vina T&T Group, collaborated with local authorities to conduct field surveys and technical training activities for the Tri An pomelo growing area spanning nearly 18ha, aiming to gradually enhance the quality of raw material regions toward export standards.
During the on-site working sessions, the technical team directly:
- Evaluated pomelo fruit quality at the orchards
- Guided farmers on selecting fruits that meet export standards
- Conducted training on the proper use of fertilizers and plant protection products
- Provided guidance on cultivation record keeping and planting area codes
- Measured Brix levels and advised on cultivation techniques to improve product quality
Through these activities, Vina T&T Group not only aims to strengthen purchasing connections, but also wishes to accompany local authorities and farmers in standardizing cultivation processes, enhancing the value of Dong Nai pomelos, and developing a more sustainable pomelo value chain.
This also serves as an important step toward strengthening the linkage between production and consumption, while expanding opportunities for Tri An pomelos to access domestic distribution systems as well as international export markets in the future.
