PROJECT ON ENHANCING CREDIBILITY IN TRACEABILITY AND AGRICULTURAL CERTIFICATION IN SOUTHEAST ASIA

On the morning of February 24, 2025, VINA T&T GROUP had the honor of welcoming and working with a delegation from Australi with the presence of experts in agricultural research and economics:

  • Associate Professor Robin E. Roberts (Griffith University)
  • Professor Alec Zuo (Flinders University)
  • Dr. Di Zeng (University of Adelaide)

On behalf of Vina T&T Group, the meeting was attended by:

  • Mr. Nguyen Dinh Muoi – Deputy General Director
  • Mr. Nguyen Phong Phu – Technical Director
  • Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue – Member of Assistant General Director

This project is funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Forestry. Following the successful collaboration on the Sustainable Mango Project in Dong Thap, the professors are seeking insights and feedback from Vina T&T Group for this initiative.

Key Discussion Points:

  • Vina T&T Group shared opportunities and challenges in agricultural exports and highlighted considerations for Australian products entering the Vietnamese market.
  • The company also expressed interest in learning from Australian universities about fruit preservation techniques and enhancing agricultural trade cooperation between both parties.
  • Southeast Asia is a promising market for Australian agricultural and seafood products, particularly in Vietnam, where the middle class is rapidly expanding.

This collaboration not only strengthens trade strategies but also addresses key issues, providing Australian producers and exporters with valuable insights while supporting Vietnamese businesses in expanding their export markets.
